The candy~

My favorite part of the parade were these jets. I esspecially loved it when this seagull or mormon chicken flew up like it wanted to be part of the act!

Hailee loved the flying candy, but she could have any except the dumb dumbs and Stephen did a great job gathering up a few for her! Thanks Stephen!

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!! The Family!

We had a great 4th of July this year! We started the celebration out early by getting cows FINALLY into our pasture on Friday. It was a lot of fun and check out my next post for pics and info.
The actual day started out with the parade in town which was really good this year. We esspecially had fun sharing it with so many family members. Hailee absolutely loves her cousins and had a blast. She is also quite attached to a few of her aunts!

And we cannot forget Grandpa! She loves her grandpa Roy and had fun this weekend hanging out with him. Something I didn't get a photo of, but should have was the moment when she was so tired, but didn't want to go to bed. She went over and climbed up on his lap and just let him hold her and rub her back. It was SOOO sweet and dang it if I didn't get my camera out. She gets pretty crazy when she is tired, so this was a different thing for her to let someone hold her.

I totally love these sunglasses! She wore them willingly almost the whole parade!

June 22-Today!

Hailee and I took a day and dressed up to match, I only took her picture, but I looked pretty similar. Minus the pigtails, squort, and super cuteness! We went shopping a bit and had a quick backyard picnic with Des and the cousins. It was a fun day and I am so glad to be able to hang out with such a QT!

Cathy, Curt, and I went and fixed fence over on Conant Creek and this was our view. My camera doesn't give it an ounce of justice because it was beautiful. Everything was very thick and green. It was even humid. I totaly felt like I was in the Amazon bushwhacking my way through the jungle. It was a pretty steep side and the ride up the canyon was one to remember. I couldn't stop laughing almost the whole way back up, but if I told you the story I wouldn't live another day.

Hailee helped Grandpa and Grandma push posts with the buldozer and never wanted off. She doesn't let Grandpa get much done without her when a ride is involved.

We helped Aunt Cathy mow the lawn, and holy cow it was long from all the rain. There really wasn't one day to mow while we were gone so we did quite the whacking. Hailee liked to pretend to push the mower around, but really she was more of a moral support in the deal. She rode around on Cathy's lap on the riding mower until she would get bored and want to see the horses. Crazy girl doesn't know how good she's got it!

We got a new kitty on Monday from Aunt Cathy and so far have not named it. He is a very nice little kitty and lets Hailee get pretty rough with him. I worry for his life sometimes, but so far it is working out really well. We have been needing a good little cat around here. We used to have a few, but over the last couple years they have died off. We have a couple left, but lately our dogs have forgotten how to behave and are killing them. This is something we are correcting, but for now our kitty will stay inside and go outside sometimes. This way the dogs get more comfortable with it around.

Hailee and I took a mom and tot swim class. We had a TON of fun and can't wait to go use our new SKILLS. Actually Hailee was probably a bit young for the class, but we had a lot of fun in the pool and I am really glad we took it. The biggest thing we learned was how to slide, flop, or a "1 year old version of jump" into the pool. She loves it! I can't wait to take her swimming again just to jump in the pool. And folks much more happened and a lot of our plans got canceled due to our "sick" days, but this is the wrap. Can't wait for many more weeks of fun to come!!!

What the FLU!

So yes it is 2:30 A.M.
Yes we have been awake.
Tuesday Curt was SOOOOO Sick and it was terrible, I had thought Hailee and I had gotten away without getting sick. WRONG!
Last night it was teeth all night and she cut one on the bottom and has a top one popping out. Very sad and painful for a little girl's mouth.
Tonight on the way home from swimming, Hailee showed the first flu signs. ALL over her carseat, good thing it is easily cleaned. She has been throwing up ever since. She dry heaves every time she moves but nothing come out and she cries terribly.
I just put her in bed with her dad because I too now have the flu. I HATE THROWING UP!!!!!
My stomach is twisting and if I try to walk around I have to run to the bathroom speady style.
So much for enjoying our summer. So far it has been raining and we have all had the flu. Even worse is that sanitizing and clean up await me in the morning. Wonderful!

Oreos=Yummy=Fun=Messy

She is showing me the goods. Yes that is a whole Oreo, she thought it was pretty funny.

Love my baby blue even when she is covered in gooey messy chocolate cookies!

Mommies!

So I really want to take advantage of my time off this summer and would like to schedule in some fun activities. I am thinking atleast once a week Hailee and I should gather together our friends and do something fun to enjoy the weather (hopefully nice from now on!). These things can be in Ashton, or not, but I need friends. Anyone interested in joining up to get our kids out to play I would really appreciate the company. I could use some help with some ideas! Thanks....
