My little cleaning lady!

Hailee is obsessed lately with doing whatever I am doing. She doesn't like to wait for me to finish or for me to help her. She just wants the vacuume, or the broom, or the laundry NOW.... so hopeful and yet frustrating at the very same time!!!!!!

Althought I think it is cute watching her help I can't stand the thought of her touching my broom because of course she ends up examining the WHOLE thing. I took it away and she is throwing a fit. She is getting quite good at fits. She has mastered the arch and stiff body. Now we are moving on to the piercing scream and head banging. Occassionally she will go all out and hit and throw things. I guess we can say she is officially my kid......

Our fun weekend!!!

We went to Curt's bros Chad and Cody's football game on Friday and had a BLAST!!! It was an awesome game and brought back the highschool football night "feel." -atleast for me.... Hailee had fun seeing her cousins and eating Tomatoes------fyi------a BAD thing for babies-----..... anyway

The game was fun and they totally won and made it exciting.

Saturday Curt had planned some serious fence-fixing, but ended up doing it on his own. When I finally got a babysitter, it started lightening and we decided not to risk it.

Before the babysitter Hailee and I played in the sun and had a lot of fun with her pool. She wouldn't even wait for the water to warm up. I watched her and laughed all day because I can't believe she is mine!! Enjoy the photos, I know that is what really mattters.

Planting 2009

Hailee and I rode in the tractor with Curt only once this spring. She is much too busy to handle too much time in the tractor. She was pretty sweet to whipe down everything even though it was an endless task.
This girl loves to clean and I hope it sticks around!!!

First pigtails!

She has officially learned the meaning behind the camera and the purpose of "cheese" I am so excited each day to wake up with this beauty. She makes me laugh constantly. We went shoe shopping today and she is already a perfect little shopper. She is chatty chatty to everyone until the come to talk to her, then it is shy girl. She gives lots of loves, whistles, locates body parts on the face, and loves to play with dolls and push her stroller, shopping cart, and other various rollers around the house.
I still can't believe she is 1!
I am so grateful to be her mom and to watch her become such a loving and wonderful person!

Memorial Day Fun!

Just so you know these guys were shooting pretty lazy, when I play I totally get into it! Coach Lenz would be very proud of my perfect form!
We had the big Hill family reunion up in Island Park this last weekend and had a blast! We spent our days hanging out, eating yummy, yummy food, going to West Yellowstone, Big Springs, and on drives. Thanks for all the fun activities, and thanks dad for the cabin. It was a great spot to relax and really enjoy the good parts to "camping" ....... the Wii........

Hailee and I are in the June 22-26 session so come hang out with us. I think it is only $35 and that is pretty good for some quality swim time and great company!

Magnificent Mother's

I am very grateful for the mother's in my life. I love my mom and have really been enjoying being friends with her. She is so beautiful and talented!

I am also grateful to have Lorelei in my life. She is so good to help us and she takes great care of my dad! She is an awesome person!

I love the grandma's in my life. Both of my gramdmas have been amazing examples of patience, love, and service. I am most grateful to them for raising my parents to be such great people. Belva, Lorelei's mom is also a very awesome woman. She has been so accepting and loving to us and I love being apart of such a great family she raised!

I am grateful for Kathy, Roy's wife, because she is so patient and talented. She has made so many beautiful things just with her hands!
Also to all of my sister-in-laws who helped to "mother" my amazing husband. They are constantly telling me how much his mom enjoyed being a "mom." She raised very good daughters who when the time came stepped up did what they had to do. I am so lucky to be a part of this family.

To all of the mothers out there that give me help, confidence, or love as I embark on this motherly journey. I am lucky for all of you in my life. I hope you had a great MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

-------TRIP TO BOISE--------

So I decided to head to Boise for Mother's Day. I wanted to see my mom and my grandma for this special weekend. I also knew Curt would be working and it was about time I took a little vacation!!! Hailee did really pretty good. She slept about 3 hours both ways and so I only had 2 hours to entertain her. My tricks---- Jerky ( a good 30 minute distraction)----licorice (another good 30 minute distraction----the radio from Stephen ( the final 25 minute solution)----the Birthday card from Cheri ( definately almost 1 Hour of distraction!!!) This silly card was a Winnie-The-Pooh song card and she LoVeD opening it and would laugh every time!!! The times might not add up but it is an estimate. She also got some crying time in, but not that bad!
We had a great time visiting Jack's school and seeing this mother duck who is "sitting" on her eggs. Very interesting!!!

We also went shopping and I saved almost $200 at Kohls ( I think that is their marketing, you always save and so you feel good about yourself!)

I talked my mom into going to the zoo and we really got lost, but laughed a lot!
We had a blast at the zoo and Hailee was just tuckered out!

Birthday Party at Grandpa's

These pictures are slow to get up but my dad held a second little party for Hailee.
I love this picture because it really shows how extatic my dad gets with Hailee. He played this silly ball game and she loved it!
This is Hailee trying on Aunt Roni's shoes. We couldn't keep her away from the things, it was pretty funny!
This is a totally awesome scooter thing. Great present! She loves it.
She got to eat cake with ice cream this time! YUMMY!!!!!

My grandpa sneaks in a little kiss! That stinker is weird around him and he tries so dang hard, I'm sure she'll come around. Who wouldn't love my GRANDPA?????

So much info....so little time!

I have a few more posts for tonight including more birthday pics, a mother's day weekend, and a trip to the zoo.

Those will all come later when I get Hailee to bed and I am able to picture play. For now, some quick Hailee stats!

18 lbs- 7%

28inches- 17%

She walks and runs wherever she wants. She loves cereal, celery, applesauce, jerky, birthday cake, dum dums, and string cheese. She has about 2- 3 naps a day depending on the length and what we are doing. She goes till she drops. She is ussually in bed around 9:30 flops all night and by morning she is all twisted and turned.

She loves people, esspecially babies and other kids. She gives kisses and is constantly saying
"Hi" to everyone. She loves to be outside and play with animals. She points to the dogs and says "get" (we are always telling the dogs to get down when she is out).

Mostly Hailee is a super special and totally adored little girl. She is very lucky to have so many people to love and care for her. We have been so blessed with a happy, healthy, energetic, and smart little girl! She is the best!

The big ONE!

Hailee had an AWESOME birthday party yesterday! She had so much fun playing with all of her friends and family. My mom and grandma helped me make more amazing crowns for all the kiddies that came. They didn't really wear them much, but it was sure cute when they did. I bought a lot of really cute flower decorations at the dollar store and totally decked out our house for like $5. Curt was very gracious and brought down a few of the horses for a few rides. He didn't really want to do it, but I told him I could just ask her grandpa. I knew Roy would have the horses down for his Hailee girl in a minute! In the end they were here anyway due to a horseshoeing schedule.

I am pretty sure she loved the horses. When we took her off because it started to rain she was kicking and screaming. Shoshoni liked having her on too because she wouldn't stop to let her off very well!

This is Hailee chowing down on her 1st cupcake! It was pretty well eaten and she did a great job of not making a mess!
A funny story- Our nephews Logan and Porter loved the cupcakes, but the cake part "made them sick" so they would eat off the frosting. Hailee was romping around after we cleaned off the cupcake eating disaster. She went under our table to find THREE topless cupcakes. She was pretty excited to be the first to find her cousin's leftovers! We were pretty lucky that there wasn't a lot of cupcake smashed into the carpet.
SO many more pictures and things happened and I will update the pictures later. We are still partying because as of today at 1:05 pm Hailee will be ONE! Let the party continue!!!!!!
