Someone got spoiled!

ME!!!! I got to enjoy Christmas with so many friends and family. I was able to see Christmas come alive through the eyes of a child, not mine, but my nephew! I was able to introduce the birth of Christ to a very special little girl!

daddy wake up!

Our Christmas morning was very special! Besides a morning surprise from two special dogs everything went very well. Nic was esspecially good this year and got an AMAZING Santa Suit made just for him by Santa's Elves. He also got several other fun things.

Hailee girl got a way awesome Radio Flyer pony, a sled, a few dolls, some clothes, a learning table, a radio, and so many more fun things! She has been such a sweetheart this whole vacation! SO SO SO SO HAPPY and SWEET to everyone! We are both so lucky!

THanks so much to everyone who helped make our Christmas the best yet!

Christmas EVE!!!

Curt's family gets together every Christmas Eve to exchange presents. It is a lot of fun and very CROWDED!!! We had a lot of fun watching all of the kids. Hailee has some super cool cousins that just love her to death! Sorry some of the pics are blurry I have been playing with my camera!

Some of Hailee's biggest milestones occured the last two weeks. She is saying mama, dada, baba, daisy- Our Puppy-, and mimmics several other sounds. She also claps her hands and her dad's favorite- SHE DOES TOUCHDOWN! It is so cute she started figuring out touchdown, and we would clap and say YEAh! THen she started just going touchdown right into the clap, now she is able to do both! VERY TALENTED!!!!!! She is also learning to ride her first horse, play with her first dolls, pull herself up on everything, and take a regular pacifier! WOW CHRISTMAS IS SUCH A GREAT TIME OF THE YEAR!!!

No Place like HOME!

The other night Cathy got me up and about just in time to see this BEAUTIFUL sunset. It was amazing! I am so grateful to be in such an area to experience these beautiful scenes.

Hailee was also able to enjoy it. We took a few mommy/daughter shots! Too bad they didn't really turn out???? It was fun, so I wanted to remember the experience!

Christmas BABY!!!!

Christmas is comming and we are so excited. I love all the trimmings with lights, Santa, presents, shopping, decorations, wrapping, and of course pretty little dresses.

So far we have been to the community christmas craft fair. Where we dressed as the "Santa Baby" as several little children called our sweetheart.

We met a new friend.

We were able to sit on Santa's lap, very well and curious like!

We went and saw Christmas lights with our friends Ben, Heather, and Berrick.

We wore our Christmas dress to church and to Grandpa and Grandma Armstrong's.

Thankful for Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving was very enjoyable. We drove to Boise, which was a bit more challenging than the first couple of times I did it. I actually had someone with me, but Hailee is older and doesn't like to sit still that long anymore. We made it though!

Our dinner was way delicious and much tooooooo much! It was a fun filled weekend.

Dan had a lot of fun with Hailee, and I am sure it was a mutual feeling. She played very good with him. He was so funny how he completely loved her. He helped with whatever we would let him. Sometimes a bit more than needed!!!!

On Thursday we all went shopping and really enjoyed it. We only went a couple places, but we had fun and got finished! That is what matters!!!!!

Of course when I got home I started wrapping stuff. Hailee got into the wrapping with me and had a lot of fun making it so much harder.

Anyway, We are looking forward to Christmas like crazy! It is a whole new experience with our sweet little angel!

4 down Forever to GO!

Curt and I celebrated 4 great years yesterday! It has been such an amazing experience as we have grown even closer each of the 1,460 days of our marriage. To help me remember the moments I am supplying a few random facts.

Why we got married:

Sometimes I look back over our lives and can't imagine how Curt and I weren't meant for eachother. He truly is my best friend and knows me better than I even know myself.

There are so many things that we understand about eachother because of the events that have happened in our lives.

We knew that we wanted to be together because we make eachother better! We are happier together than apart- even still!!!

Things we have accomplished over the years:

The first year We attened ISU as a married couple. This is where we worked together at Public Safety and met several good friends.
We returned home to the place we love and hope to continue to call our home!
In the past 3 years, We transfered to BYU-Idaho, changed our degrees, and did a lot of driving to school.
We each went full time, I in Elementary Ed and him in AG Business/Animal Science.
Curt also got his CDL and worked EXTREMELY hard so that we can have the things that we have. He completed an internship for the Forest Service, worked heavy equipment in Driggs, built a cabin with Clark Brothers, and most recently worked his TAILLLLLL off for a local farmer. All of the while he has worked equally hard on his own family farm and been a loving husband to me!
Our crazy life slowed considerably down when we both graduated in April. We checked graduating off of our TO DO LIST and got ready to have a baby.

Hailee was born May 3 and has filled the school gap in our lives. She keeps us entertained, and smiling!

Curt is still works much harder than he should and is highly underappreciated. I try my hardest, but the poor guy doesn't always get the credit he deserves for taking such good care of our family. What a blessing he is to us!

I am currently teaching 6th grade. I am so thankful to have walked into such an amazing position. I am so grateful for my career choice in that I can still be a great and involved mother. I love the kids I teach and the people I work with.

Hailee goes to our neighbor's everyday and plays with the cutest little 4 year old. She is loved and I am comforted knowing that she is in a good home!

Things I have learned:
I have learned that it is easier to forgive and just love the guy than to get all emotional!
I have learned that spaghetti is not something to be eaten as left-overs.
I have learned that it should be a requirement to LOVE and spend equal time with the spouses family to make the marriage strong.
I have learned to always have pepsi in the fridge- extra in the cuboard in the winter!
I have learned to laugh more about life!
I have learned to love the little things.

Why we are still going strong:
We don't want to give up.
We know the alternative is nonexistent. We can choose to love eachother and make it work.
We love Hailee, she is a new dimension in our relationship. I look at Curt in a new light because he is a great dad for Hailee and I love to see them interact! I hope he also sees this in me:)
We have such great support behind us. Curt has an amazing family and I am so grateful to be around them. They give me the strength and the confidence that I have always tried to have. My parents are also so supportive. They love us and take such geat care of us even at the hardest times!
We are sealed forever. Our faith and the principles we believe in make everything seem so simple. We know it is hard, but that it is possible, and it is worth everything!

Pumpkin Carving Time!!!!

Hailee carved her first pumpkin tonight, with lots of help by the way!

Grandma and Grandpa Steglemeier, Grandpa Layne and Grandma Lorelei, her Aunt Cathy and Curt and I shared in this very fun event!

We ate pizza, decorated cupcakes, and played with pumpkin goup!

Hailee was just dying to get into the pumpkin for a photo----kidding----her mom just liked the idea!

She had a little pumpkin she played with and a bigger one she sat in!!!

A very fun night! We missed so many of you, esspecially my mom, but there are many more fun moments to come!!!
