Miss Hailee is romping everywhere. When Curt and I try to walk her between us, she runs both ways and just giggles!!!!!!! She has discovered the stairs along with many more "NO, NO's" A phrase she also understands and mimmics. We have created a barrier system, which at best is temporary. Everyday with this angel is more amazing than the first! We are so blessed.

My mom came up this weekend and played very hard with Hailee. She had her playing some silly game with all the snowmen we have upstairs. It was funny seeing Hailee so entertained. I am so glad she came because I miss her all the way over in Boise. Her and Jack helped us out with Hailee on Saturday while I had my class. It is so nice to have such great people to love and care for Hailee girl!

Finally- I am posting a video in my next post for those of you who were too far to enjoy the NF celebration with the Girls going to state!!!

Spring Fever is here and I am looking forward to green grass and chirping birds. I am dreading flies, bugs, and planting season!!

CRAFT GIVE AWAY ----- FOR YOU!!!!

This is a great idea......from Mandy's BLOG :)))))):))))))

We will see how effective it is. The goal in this for me is to find out who cares enough and trusts me enough to respond below. Then it will be my job to create something specially and unique for you!!!!!!!!!!

Here's how it works: the first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! Completely my choice for you.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year.

Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same deal to 5 of your own lucky blog readers.

Aunt Roni!

Roni is such an awesome person! She and Jase came into our lives when my dad married Lorelei. It has definately been an experience getting to know a whole new, and very BIG family. Lorelei has tons of nieces and nephews and so on and on... We have gotten to know them over the years. Roni has been so great esspecially with Hailee. She spoils her almost as much as her mom. We have really been fortunate to be a part of this crazy and caring family.

Thanks Roni for the puppy and for playing with so good with Hailee! You are an awesome Aunt!!!!!

Our Miracle Baby!

Some people are aware how long Curt & I waited for Hailee. When we first got married we were living in Pocatello. It was a year before I decided to get off the pill and start trying. I loved kids and wanted a baby so badly. I promised Curt that my dad would be so thrilled for the baby he would get over being upset. I got excited and went out and bought a beautiful little dress. I was sure that we would have a girl once we did get pregnant.
I brought the dress with me when we moved back to Ashton that summer. I had it hanging on our closet doors and would always look at it. The months came and went, but I wasn't too worried. Then the months became a year, then two. After this long I had decided my worst fear was coming true. I remember calling my mom and Christa crying because I was certain we wouldn't ever have a baby. I would walk around holding this dress and crying! I know it sounds pathetic, and it would be for those who have never had a problem conceiving.

Then as if the Lord had planned it perfectly we were pregnant. My due date was just 2 weeks after Curt and I's graduations. The month we conceived Curt and I asked some of his family to fast and pray with us. The Lord blessed us with an amazing miracle. He knew enough to keep Curt to his word and answer our fervent prayers. I cannot tell you how amazing and thrilling I felt to finally after 2 and 1/2 very long years we were finally going to have a baby! Curt was equally happy.

I knew from day one that it would be a girl. Don't ask me how, but I just knew. I knew that we were finally getting a little baby that would be such a blessing to our lives and to our families.

Many of you know A.J. my little bro is on a mission. His mission is pretty hard on my parents and they have really missed him. With my sisters passing and with him away for 2 years, Hailee has kept them all entertained and lessened their burden some. In the end Hailee has brought so many miracles in so many areas.

Yesterday Hailee wore the dress I bought 4 years ago in Pocy. It was a special day for me because I don't really care about the dress so much as the little sprit wearing it.

I hope all mom's out there are equally thankful for their little miracles. I like to think that Heavenly Father wanted extra time with Hailee. That my love and appreciation for her is stronger because I practically begged and cried everynight for her. Everytime it gets hard or I am tired I think of those nights and remember what a blessing she is to our family!

Go Lady Huskies!!!

I am so glad that I was able to go to the girl's championship game last night. Our Lady Huskies played SOOSOOSOSO well. I am very impressed by their aggression and ability.

North Fremont Huskies win district championship
ST. ANTHONY -- Shouts of joy, tears, hugs and a whole lot of smiles was the scene on the North Fremont side of the gym at South Fremont High School Thursday night. The Huskies became district champions with a 44-27 over West Jefferson. "This was our dream," said North Fremont coach Ben Lenz after receiving the champion trophy and helping his girls cut down their winning net. "I've been here a couple different times and fell short. To finally see that happen for the school, for the kids, is just, I can't explain it.Updated: Thursday, February 12, 2009 10:56 PM MST

I couldn't help but remonise about my own days out on the court. I LOVED BASKETBALL! It really was the highlight of my high school days. We practiced hard and tried to play even harder. I was able to play with so many talented friends. We worked hard and we actually were very good.

Every summer, just like the girls today, we spent a good month going to tournaments, camps, and pretty much anything Coach wanted us to do. We did Saturday League in Idaho Falls every spring, playing teams like Bonneville, Hilcrest, Shelley, and Skyline. It was so much fun. We trashed Coach's already trashed car, and were pretty much like sisters.

We were ranked for State and played undefeated almost my whole senior year. In the end, just like every year, we crumbled. Something would happen during Districts that would break us down. Granted, we played very tough teams. We played teams that won State the year before or even the year after. No excuses, we had beaten them before, but not when it mattered.

Last night that trend ended and we have our first Girl's Basketball District Champions. I am so happy that finally we have crossed that bridge. There is no longer the idea that it has never happened before, because it did. This group of girls is very talented and they have paved the way. Coach Lenz deserves so much to go to state because he is an amazing coach.

I hope one day that Hailee will love basketball and be able to play for the same school and coach that I did. She enjoys the games, so that is a good sign!

Just a little thought from the past. Keep looked for pictures from the past too!!!

She is EVERYWHERE!

Hailee is a travelin' fool. She has a very busy schedule. If she isn't at home playing, eating cheerios, or riding her horse; she is at Misty's playing with Alison and getting her hair done. Sleeping over at Aunt Cathys and taking baths, convincing her grandparents to crawl around the floor with her. She is a very BUSY and SNEAKY little chick. Here are some pics from her busy life.

You know my dad already has a bad back, but he is always on the floor when Hailee is romping around. They learn all sorts of things that I don't know if she should. Such as: rolling off the couch, spitting food, and standing up in the rocking chair. Oh well that is what grandpas are for...

This is a super awesome bath toy at Aunt Cathy's house. We stayed there this last weekend because of some guests, but it was worth it! These little light up creatures spout out water. It can get pretty messy, but Hailee loved them. She would try to pick them up, but they shot water at her. She would laugh and then try again. She was so proud of herself when she finally got the turtle. (He shot out the most!)

Super Bowl Entertainment and She's a TWIN!

GO STEELERS!!!!

We had a rockin' party with tons of good food, entertainment, and of course the game!

Thanks for inviting us Heather and Ben!

The kids were by far my favorite part, although the tasty treats are pretty close.

Hailee found herself a new binki-great idea Berrick!

Then of course we had to get back to a normal life. Every morning we try to keep Hailee asleep so we can get out faster. This is hard for me because I love dressing Hailee up and giving her loves before work. I have had to skip this for 2 reasns.

1st we don't want her up

2nd her friend/babysitter's daughter Alison wants to dress her

It works out well and she is always so cute when I finally pick her up.

Anyway- today she had little nobby buns on top. I took them out to see that she has a resemblance to Will Ferrell- you be the judge
